About My Practice
After 30 years working with children and families in the public educational system in California, I took a three-year sabbatical and sailed in and around the Caribbean. Refreshed, I was ready for a different tack and began working with adolescents and adults, both inpatient and outpatient, at a behavioral health hospital. My experience includes both substance abuse and the full range of diagnosable mental disorders. I began my private practice in the summer of 2008.
I work with Individuals, Couples, and Groups in the following areas:
- Anxiety/Panic/PTSD/Stress Disorders
- Bi-Polar
- Codependency
- Co-Occurring Disorders
- Couples
- Depression
- Emotional/Physical/Sexual Abuse
- Employee Assistance
- Gay/Lesbian/Gender
- Life/Occupation Management
- Men’s Issues
- Parenting
- Substance Abuse/Dependence
